The Sabres met the first place Bladerunners Sunday night, and upset them 5-2, handing them only their third loss of the season. The Sabres put up 49 shots compared to 32 by the Bladerunners. Four of the seven goals scored came during power plays with each team scoring one with a man advantage, plus two short-handed goals by the Sabres. The bulk of the scoring came from the "Canuck Line" with Glen Doody, Peter Komorowski and Tom Fitch each scoring a goal and two assists. Tyler Reese and Tom Morse scored the other two goals, and Rob Bartley topped the +/- ratings with a +3.
