The Sabres demolished the Ice Backs in a convincing 6-1 game.  Alan Moidel scored the opening goal and added two assists for a 3-point night. Curt Johnson and Glen Doody also had 3 points.  Scott Vincent scored the winning goal at 5:34 in the first period on a power play setup by Doody and Tom Fitch. The Sabres had 25 shots on goal, while the Ice Backs only managed 18 shots on goal.
