Game Results:

The Sabres faced the first place Bladerunners in one of the best games of the season, but were unable to hang on to the early lead. Scott Vincent racked up 2 goals to put the Sabres ahead 2-1, but the Bladerunners tied it up two minutes later. Tyler Reese then scored on a pass from Greg Nordick but once again the Bladerunners tied it up in the second period. The Bladerunners scored the winning goal on a deflection late in the third period. The Sabres were handed 64 minutes in penalties in the scrapfest. Curt Johnson and Ron Morse were ejected and face suspension. The Sabres now need help to make the playoffs with one regular season game remaining. Final Score: Sabres 3, Bladerunners 5.
