A gentle kiss upon my cheek,A MOMENT
From a lover so discreet;
Slow has been his love to show,
He does not know I love him so.
From my sleep I awake,
To be held in his embrace;
I never thought that I would find,
Someone so caring and so kind.
I thank God for you every day,
That he placed you in my way;
I was lost in this dark life,
You bring the sun into this strife.
My heart has hope, lost joy in measure,
Each day I discover you are a treasure
That never did I think I'd find,
You take the hurt from this world of mine.
Best friends we are, as well as lovers, too,
You watch over me; I do the same for you;
One we are, and think and speak the same,
